The Medical Mission continues to progress in various fields in spite
of financial constrain and other limitations. We are planning to observe
the development of all the hospitals in various spheres viz. purchase
of lands, construction of new building, completion of community health
programme, upgrading the quality of the hospitals, purchasing new
equipments and so on.
Looking at these developments, it is advisable that the Church takes
over the responsibility of healing ministry. In the olden days, when
the missionaries were responsible for the Medical Mission, they provided
the finance and personnel. Similarly it is the duty of every member
of the Church to be friendly with the Medical Mission and serve humanity.
It is gratifying that people donate generously towards the poor patients
of the Leprosy Hospital and International Cancer Center. They need
blood, financial help and above all consolation from the people. The
members come forward to, visit and comfort such patients whenever
possible, for it is a call from God.
Above all dedicated sincere Doctors to serve in all fields.
