CSI Medical Mission is an organization functioning in Kanyakumari Diocese catering to the medical needs of more than five hundred thousand people living in various rural, and urban areas of Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India. It functions as a multispeciality hospital in Neyoor as Neyoor being the head of the organaisation with branch hospitals in Marthandam, Colachel, Kulasekaram, Nagercoil , Karungal and International Cancer Centre. It is a three hundred and seventy five bedded hospital with twenty-four hours service for emergency and casualty with X-Rays and laboratory facilities. The various departments are Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Gynaecology, Urology, Internal Medicine, Medical Pediatrics, Radiation Oncology, Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, with Pain Clinic, Dentistry. There is a good Physiotherapy unit. The youth of the area are trained to serve the society in Nursing and Midwifery, Medical Records Technician Course, Diploma in Radio Diagnosis, Bachelor of Radio Imaging and Technology, Diploma in Ophthalmic technology, Diploma in Anaesthesiology Assistance Course . The motto of the mission is to carry out the healing services of Jesus to the society. This service has been done for hundred and fifty years with vigor, dedication, commitment and missionary zeal. At present, these services are carried out under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Saleen Joel, M.D., D.A. and the governing board of the Medical Mission. Governance : The Governing body consists of Bishop Rt.Rev.Deva Kadasham, M.A., B.D., a true follower of the Lord Jesus, as the chairman of the Medical Board with the Medical Superintendant Dr. Saleen Joel M.D., D.A as the secratary with Prof. K.
